Um, I think there should be a chair, a light, and a TV to start with. That's MY ideas.

Well I think the basic idea of it could be like, Maybe a dog house, and you really should give free and paying members some furniture to start out with. Like what Patrick said, but also maybe a couch, bookshelf,fridge,freezer and a sink. But if that's to much then at least a sink,water bowl and couch. (Couch only if you have a T.V if not then make it a chair). Hope that helps!
